2025 Zeta Epsilon Omega Scholarship

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Epsilon Omega Chapter of Suffolk, Virginia is now accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship. Founded in 1908 at Howard University, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc is the oldest historically black sorority. With over 300,000 college educated members across the United States, Africa, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East. The Zeta Epsilon Omega Chapter remains committed to education and service. For over 70 years, Zeta Epsilon Omega has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to high school students. Awards are based on academic achievement, community service, school involvement , extra curricular activities and financial need.

Scholarship Eligibility:

All graduating seniors from Suffolk Public Schools or Isle of Wight County Public Schools may apply.
Students must have at least a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Students must submit a written essay of at least 250 words. The essay must include why the student feels he/she should be awarded the scholarship and his/her commitment to extracurricular and/or community service activities.
In order for the scholarship to be awarded, the student must show evidence of enrollment in a 4-year college or university.
Students must submit two (2) letters of recommendation.
